You've booked a shoot, but what to wear!??

With the change of weather, upcoming Holiday mini-sessions, and inquiring minds, I thought I'd put together a "what to wear" blog to get some ideas flowing! 

Firstly, it's important not to be matchy-matchy! By this, I mean the Dark Jeans-one-color-shirt kinda deal. I like to recommend choosing one or two accent colors to play off and incorporate into the look. Below (thanks to Polyvore.com) is a perfect example of how to bring colors together without being overly matchy.  Solid colors work best and I try to avoid the color red. Busy patterns and logos are distractions and just don't work for portraits. Hope this helps you in getting that perfect look for your photos! Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions :)

Little B was so fun to photograph! His mommy Cathy worked SO incredibly hard to win this mini-session on my Facebook Page. She totally deserved it and I'm so happy to have met her cute little family. This little guy had some serious energy and was stoked to run free around the pumpkins; most of which, were bigger than him! I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I have :) Leave some love!

Mr. + Mrs. Samples | Wedding Sneak

Allyson and Chris have been married for exactly one week today! They were wed at the beautiful Washington Oaks State Park, just South of Marineland on 9/14 in an intimate ceremony amongst the rose gardens. It was a true pleasure to be there and capture such beautiful moments of a true love story! Chris is a Sergeant in the Marines and is returning to Afghanistan this week- My heart goes out to Allyson, and I know she has amazing friends and family to support her while he's overseas. Thank you so much, Chris, for serving and protecting our freedom. Enjoy the teasers! More soon to follow -xo
