Brian + Kelsey are Engaged! | Downtown St. Augustine Photographer

I met up with my good friends Brian + Kelsey in downtown St. Augustine for their engagement shoot at the end of August! It had started drizzling earlier in the day and I happened to catch Kelsey in time for her to pick up a cute umbrella in case it didn't stop raining! Well, needless to say we had the perfect misting rain, double rainbows and amazing soft light to add to the charm of these two awesome people! I'm so happy for you two and can't wait to celebrate your wedding in March :) -xo

Sweet Sisters | St. Augustine Family Photographer

I feel so lucky to have met Alexis and her three little girls. She contacted me about taking some photos of her children back in May so I've been anxious to finally meet them! While it's naturally tricky to corral very young children for pictures and have them all stay focused, I was up for the challenge! Thankfully, Alexis brought along her Mother and sister, Toni for support and assistance! We met at Lighthouse Park and found beautiful light and awesome photo-ops! Her oldest realized that throwing leaves and dirt into the air would keep me pretty far from her (haha!) and at some point surprised me with a little leaf shower! ;) Although we collectively were getting eaten up by gnats, sweating bullets, and scooping up the little ones from escaping our view, I was still able to capture the spirit of these happy and beautiful girls! After this session, we met up the following weekend at a little park downtown for more photos! I was greeted by the cutest tu-tu wearing, curly haired girls ever (Even her sweet 6 month old had one)!! They had a blast running, sliding, teeter tottering and even tree climbing; Needless to say, we all got a workout! I had such a great time with this little family and I'm thankful for this opportunity! It was so nice to have met you all and I can't wait to see you again :) Enjoy!!

 

Almeda Family | St. Augustine Family Photographer

I met Amber through my facebook fan page. She became my #1 Fan when she rounded up all of her friends to win the free session I was giving away! Let me tell you, her friends must have felt seriously spammed for a whole week after her pleading with them for this chance at a family photoshoot. It was definitely worth it because she won out of quite a few other competitors! We scheduled a shoot for when her Husband, Rocky, was in town (he travels for work) and finally met up last weekend on a beautiful evening in downtown St. Augustine. Her son Jacob was the sweetest little boy who does the CUTEST impression of "what a horse says."

Kyle + Christina | Engagement Party

I'm so happy that Christina asked me to shoot her "Champagne and Sparklers" Engagement party! She is engaged to my Fiance's cousin, Kyle, who she loves oh-so-much!! This is a power couple; extremely talented, not to mention their amazing sense of style and their strong passion and love for each other and their families. Their engagement party was nothing short of what I expected from these two graphic designers from California. A few of the details included the custom labels on the party favors to the champagne bar that featured lavender infused flavors and other natural mixes to add to your bubbly. Oh! Not to forget Christina's proposal to Kyle! Yes, She proposed to him. It was a sincere and fun way to let him know how much she loved him. Afterward, she gave him a custom bracelet in a beautiful engraved box that read, "You are not alone." So sweet. It was a great day of sea breezes, sun, LOTS of family, tasty lunch, smiles, kisses, and a bubble machine {lol}. Love you guys! Enjoy the photos :)
